Room four have been working on descriptive language in our writing. We wrote a story about a time we were cold and what happened to our body when we were cold. Connor did a great job of describing what happens to his eyes in the cold. Well done Connor!

Rm 4/ Go New Zealand!

We loved following the olympics! We tracked our athletes on the ANZ Olympics app. Our teacher Miss Davidson made medals each time we won one so we knew who won it and what for. We are very proud of all of our New Zealand athletes.

Rm 4/ Cooking

Last week we did instructional writing in room 4. We finished the week off by following a set of instructions to bake cheese muffins. We were very excited to be able to use our amazing new cooking room. The children all read the instructions very carefully and took turns ensuring everyone had a job. The muffins all turned out well and were very tasty!

Rm 4/ Engineering

Last term we had a focus on Engineering. The students solved lots of engineering challenges, designed, produced and improved a wide variety of products. Our final challenge was to design a game to play in our classroom on a rainy day. Connor, Ben and Wilson designed this mini golf game. It is fantastic to see the children's excitement about playing all their new games!
